Each Black Forge Art hanging sign is handmade to order in our Kent workshop from rust-free stainless steel. The detailed artwork sits above a substantial hanging bracket arm, with your personalised name plate suspended below. Each sign is professionally prepared and powder coated satin black for long-term outdoor use.

Our hanging signs are available with four name plate styles, allowing you to choose the look that best suits your property.

Personalised Lettering
Your sign will be finished with white Times New Roman lettering on both sides, as shown in the examples, using premium cast vinyl.

Black Forge Art is a family-run metalwork business based in rural Kent. We’ve been creating handmade metalwork since 1989, combining traditional blacksmithing with modern stainless steel fabrication, TIG welding and precision cutting.
Every hanging sign is individually fabricated, welded and finished in our workshop rather than being mass produced.

15-Year Guarantee
Our stainless steel hanging signs are backed by our 15-year guarantee, giving you confidence that your sign has been made for long-term outdoor use.
The guarantee covers rust or corrosion of the stainless steel construction, failure of welded joints and failure of manufactured components under normal use.

Lead Times
Every sign is handmade to order. Our normal lead time is approximately 2–6 weeks, depending on our current workshop schedule and the complexity of your order.
If your sign is required for a particular date or special occasion, please contact us before ordering and we’ll confirm what is possible.
Returns
As personalised signs are made specifically to your chosen wording and specification, they are not normally eligible for change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
